Atari opened its doors 40 years ago and the world has never been the same.  The company produced legendary games and incubated some of the world’s greatest visionaries, most notably Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Nolan Bushnell.

Atari held its 40th reunion at the Chicken Coop in Campbell California and hosted over 350 people. Doug Hughes and Avedis Aladzyhan attended with their wives and what a surprise it was. Most of the big names were there including the founders Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. Ira and Sandy Bettelman, the owners of the largest coin-op distributor in the US, CA Robinson of Los Angeles were also there in a rare appearance.

Although it was a private gathering, many memories were relived and old friendships renewed. It was a great time for all and we literally had a blast from the past.
